ABOUT
PERSONAL HISTORY My interest in music started at a very early age. I started out playing piano, migrated to drums and started getting serious about guitar when I was 13 years old. Learning to play guitar, seemed to come natural and quickly. Within two years of taking guitar classes, I was offered to take over three classes of guitar students, totaling about 150 students. I taught guitar for about two years while building my first recording studio at age 14 and releasing my first single at 15 years old. I was always fascinated with sound and production in the studio environment. Over this period, I won over 10 awards for instrumental performance, numerous songwriting competitions and was voted "Who's Who in Music" in 1979. After graduating High School I was fortunate enough to get a touring offer with musicians I grew up listening to. At age 18 Peavey Electronics signed me to an endorsement deal. I was the youngest artist to receive a full endorsement for their line of guitars and amps. I took a break from non stop touring in 1982 to pursue a career in Nuclear Medicine. In 1983 I was offered a job in Florida to play music full time. I fell in love with the area and never left, only to later open my own Recording Studio where we have developed many artists, wrote songs with Grammy award winning song writers and had chart topping projects on Billboard Music Charts. I have had over 30 years of studio experience. I have learned video production techniques and many skills working in the audio engineering community. In 2000 I formed my publishing company: "Shannon Wallace Music and Publishing" and started Truth Audio, Inc. Truth Audio is an electronic product design, and manufacturing company, specializing in Recording Studio Speaker Systems used worldwide by studio professionals. Truth Audio has won numerous Product and Design Awards such as: Pro Audio Magazine's (Blue Ribbon Award), Recording Magazine's (Editors Choice Award) and Electronic Musician Magazine's (PAR Excellence Award) with our first product release. I am currently Producing music in the Florida Panhandle, doing studio session work and entertaining people with my solo act and various bands. Below you will find a list of some of the bands I have shared the stage with thru my career. Thank you for taking the time to review this information. Remember where words fail, music speaks.
